SURGE, the student ministry at LifeQuest, was crazy last night! All week the kids had taken on the challenge of their fearless leader, Pastor JR, that if they broke a record of 50 kids both he and Dave Daut would shave their heads! Phone calls were made, friends were getting texts and facebook was full of invitations to all of their friends to help them by showing up to provide a record attendance! They’ve been working on it for awhile, but FINALLY last night was the moment of truth! 53 kids showed up and enthusiastically watched as Pastor JR and Dave became bald! Wow… some people will go to any lengths to see kids come to SURGE!
