Living Life on Purpose

Someone once said you can get all A’s and still flunk at life.  Why is that?  Because deep inside of every person is the desire to know that they are fulfilling the purpose for which they have been placed on this earth.  If that desire is not satisfied, Henry Thoreau said we are all prone to ‘live lives of quiet desperation.‘  The trouble in our world today is that we have too much to live with and too little to live for.  Only a bigger purpose will inspire us to do what we could never have done on our own.  For those of us who have been called by God, it means that everything we are, everything we do, and everything we have is invested with a special devotion and passion.  We will do whatever it takes to reach just one more life with the message of Jesus, even if it means driving several hours and hiking up to the top of a mountain!  Risky?  Yes.  Crazy at times?  Yes.  Worth it?  Absolutely!

Are you living life on purpose?  If not, why not?
