When it comes to working in church, there are the obvious people who stand out because we see them all the time….the lead pastor, the staff, and the volunteers who serve on Sundays as people walk through the doors. But the truth is that there are so many behind the scenes who work hard week in and week out. No one notices because the work they do is when the rest of us are not here. Out of public view, never attracting attention, they faithfully serve week in and week out. So for those who work behind the scenes – folding programs in the office, setting up chairs and taking them down again, cleaning the building, and coming in early to make the coffee – thanks for all you do!
Make it a habit to tell people thank you – especially to those who work behind the scenes. Express your appreciation sincerely and without the expectation of anything in return.
Who do you need to thank today?
